Today’s portraits are of Edmonia Lewis and Nellie Bly. Also, despite being busy, I made time to go to the Island and slow down a bit. It was a foggy day, but not cold. We got caught in the rain on the beach, but it was barely a drizzle. Sometimes I wonder what it would be like to go back to a simpler time in my life, and return to the Island. Grackles whistled incessantly. Sometimes I miss life being about simply taking in and enjoying those kinds of things.
